Bread Mail 21st May 2012

Morning all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun. It is going to be seriously hot in the kitchen baking this Friday!

This week I am trying two new specials. First is going to be a beer bread – using our town’s very own Waen Brewery beer. Possibly stout based but I will see what they have available. The second is going to be parsley and organic mature cheddar bread. I expect both of these will be sourdoughs.

As these are both new, I’m not going to be able to take any advance orders, get to the shop after 1pm and I’ll have samples and a couple of each type available.

I also hope those of you who got to the shop early last week enjoyed the garlic/rosemary and sea salt focaccia. I’ll be doing something similar this week.

Anyway, please let me know your orders by Thursday morning if possible and collect from Friday at 1pm in Great Oak Foods.
